Accumulating Share Class vs. Distributing Share Class Funds (SG)
Updated
Accumulating Share Class Funds
An accumulating share class fund retains and automatically reinvests any income or dividend that is received, generating additional capital growth by increasing the price of the units. This is done at a fund level and thus, the fund does not distribute any income to investors.
Distributing Share Class Funds
Distributing share class funds pay out any dividends or income received to investors. This may be done in a month, semi-annual or annual basis depending on the payout schedule of the fund.
