What is the CPF Investment Scheme Self Awareness Questionnaire (SAQ)? (SG)
Updated
From the 1st October 2018 onwards, CPF members who have not opened a CPF Investment Account are required to take the Self-Awareness Questionnaire (SAQ) before opening a CPF Investment Account. The SAQ is designed to help CPF members self-assess whether they have sufficient basic financial knowledge and whether investing via the CPF Investment Scheme (CPF-IS) is suitable.
The SAQ applies to both CPF OA and SA investments under the CPF Investment Scheme (CPF-IS).
You can access the SAQ via the CPF website here > login with your Singpass. The SAQ starts with learning modules on investment concepts, products, and information on charges under the CPF-IS. You must then complete the quiz, which contains 20 multiple-choice questions with no pass score. Your results will help you assess whether investing via the CPFIS is suitable for you.
If you already have a CPFIS account and would like to check your SAQ status, you can click here > login via Singpass > Check my CPFIS SAQ Status.
