Cash Smart is a diversified investment portfolio of cash, money market, and short duration fixed income funds. These funds invest in a diversified basket of low risk securities such as institutional fixed deposits, as well as high quality & short-term government and corporate bonds.
With many investors in each fund, the fund can also buy and sell the underlying securities to match with the buyers and sellers of the underlying funds. This means that Cash Smart investors have daily liquidity (no lock ups). However do note that Cash Smart is an investment product and is not capital-guaranteed. Hence, it may experience positive or negative returns at the point of redemption.
