How do I make FX conversions? (SG)

You can make currency conversions on your Endowus account by following these steps:

1. Log into your Endowus account.
   1. On the Endowus app, click on “Transfers” at the bottom of the screen.
   2. On a web browser, click on "Invest | Redeem | Transfer".
2. Select “Convert Currency”.
3. Select the currency you would like to convert from, then select the currency you would like to convert into. You may either:
   1. Input the amount to convert under “Convert”.
   2. Input the amount to receive under “To approximately”.
   3. **Note: The amount subsequently shown under “Convert” includes a small buffer to account for any movements in the rate, ensuring you receive the exact amount in your desired currency. Any remaining cash will be returned to your Endowus cash balance.
4. An indicative rate will be shown. This indicative exchange rate is for reference only and may differ from the final rate due to market movements. The rate is not fixed until the conversion transaction is completed.
5. Confirm your currency conversion via SMS OTP.
6. The proceeds of the currency conversion will be available for investing almost immediately. You will receive an email notification when the conversion is completed. If you have not received the notification and do not see the proceeds after an hour, please contact support@endowus.com.

Please note: Endowus is not a foreign currency exchange. We offer a very competitive all-in FX rate from our wholesale FX broker(s). Endowus does not take a spread or earn from the bid-ask spread from these FX transactions. Currency conversions are meant to be used for investment purposes only.

• Each client is limited to a maximum of 3 conversion transactions a day.
• There is a limit of 2.4 million USD per transaction.
• We will monitor apparent off-market trades (transaction rate deviates 3% or more from the quoted rate).
