What are Fund-Level fees? (SG)

A fund-level fee, or the expense ratio, is charged by our Fund manager partners. This refers to the ongoing costs of operating a fund. These costs may include investment management fees, trustee fees, and audit fees.

The fund-level fee is embedded in the Net Asset Value (NAV), or trading ‘price’ of a Fund. For example, if you purchase a Fund at $10 per unit, then the $10 has already included the fund-level fee.

At Endowus, we work with Fund managers to make the fund-level fee as low as possible. The fund-level fees of our cash General Investing (Core) portfolios (after Cashback on trailer fees) range approximately from 0.4% to 0.5% per annum; this is compared to the Singapore industry average of approximately 1.75% per annum.
