Which ETFs Can I Access

Which ETFs are available?

At launch, we're offering a curated list across a small number of themes: Technology/Nasdaq, precious metals and commodities, select regional exposures, sector ETFs, and treasuries across different durations.

With your ETF preference toggled on, you can view the list of funds on your Endowus account under the Explore tab or by performing a goal creation or goal modification in your Endowus account.

Why is this called a beta launch?

In this beta launch, we’re starting with a focused range of ETFs and a group of existing clients first. We’ll use your feedback and learnings to refine the experience and expand the range over time.

Your ETF investments will be held and managed just like any other investments on Endowus.

How were the ETFs on the platform selected?

The ETFs available on Endowus have been reviewed by our Investment Office  and serve as sound building blocks for long-term portfolios. These ETFs are screened by our experienced Investment Office team for cost, performance, quality, and tax efficiency. This mirrors how we select unit trusts — a shorter, quality-vetted list rather than thousands of tickers.

Why can I buy some ETFs on my own, but others only as part of a portfolio?

Under MAS regulations, ETFs are either classified as "Specified Investment Products" (SIP) or "Excluded Investment Products" (EIP).

  • EIP ETFs: Retail and Accredited Investors can buy these as standalone investments, or as part of an advised portfolio.
  • SIP ETFs: Accredited Investors can invest in SIP ETFs as standalone investments but Retail Investors can only invest in these as part of a diversified advised portfolio built through our advisory flow.

I'm an Accredited Investor (AI). Does anything change for me?

Yes. As an AI, you may buy both EIP and SIP ETFs as standalone investments.

Retail clients may only buy EIP ETFs as standalone investments, while SIP ETFs can only be invested in as part of a diversified advised portfolio.

Both AI and retail clients have access to the full list of available ETFs. This includes bothEIPs and SIPs, when investing through an advised, multi-fund portfolio.

Do you offer leveraged or inverse ETFs?

No. Our Investment Office selects ETFs as long-term building blocks for diversified portfolios. Leveraged and inverse ETFs are designed for short-term tactical positioning and carry risks that make them unsuitable for that purpose.
